History M/s. Gocool Das Jumna Das & Co (Popularly known as gdjd) was established in 1882, as a family run business by Gocool Das Jumna Das and Goverdhandas Jumnadas. This business is now run by its fourth generation of the same family. The founding company has been involved in trading of textiles, dyes and chemicals, jewelery etc., The International division of the Company has now become M/s. gdjd exports to meet the special requirements in the international trade. Gdjd has been closely associated with the running of the Binny textile business since 1900 and was part of the Board of Management of one of the biggest Indian Textile Companies, founded by the British Empire. |
